About Me & Anya
Hi, and welcome! I’m Jesi. Just a lady on an indefinite sabbatical from the life she was living and going to culinary school instead. I’ll be completing a three month, intensive, professional bread baking & viennoiserie program in Paris, France. My pup, Anya, is here in Paris with me. Once the course is done… well, I’m not sure! We’ll find that out together.
I have always known that I’d like to know a second language and experience living in another country. I now also want to know that I’ve taken a step back from the trajectory I was on, to be sure that I continue on a trajectory I want to be on. Maybe it will be as a baker, or maybe it won’t. Maybe I’ll go back to the world of engineering in corporate America. Maybe what lies ahead will be something I haven’t even considered yet! But hopefully over the course of the next year, I’ll get a little closer to knowing what my next steps look like.
Anya celebrated her sixth birthday our first week here. She loves snuggles, hikes, and adventure. Unlike me, she’s not super fond of making new friends, unless you have four legs or are willing to bribe her with peanut butter.
